#كذب_يجب_أن_يفضح ،،، It is true that I have withdrawn my article on the Liberation of Women in Palestine, in which I called for equality between men and women, due to the killing threats that I received from fanatics who do not represent the moderate majority of Palestinians. I still believe strongly in womens rights and human rights as set forth in international standards, including CEDAW. I do also believe that international standards do not contradict Islamic standards under careful scientific investigation صحيح بأنني سحب مقالتي حول تحرير المرأة في فلسطين، الذي دعوت إلى المساواة بين الرجل والمرأة، وذلك بسبب تهديدات القتل التي وصلتني من المتعصبين الذين لا يمثلون الأغلبية المعتدلة من الفلسطينيين. وما زلت أعتقد بقوة في مجال حقوق المرأة وحقوق الإنسان المنصوص عليها في المعايير الدولية، بما في ذلك اتفاقية سيداو. أعتقد أيضا أن المعايير الدولية لا تتعارض مع المعايير الإسلامية في إطار التحقيق العلمي الدقيق.
