------------------------- Straight from the student ------------------------------ A student who graduated with Master of Engineering Studies in Telecommunication Engineering (Level 9) shares that it is tough to find jobs relevant to the qualification obtained and skills gained since the economy is predominantly SME oriented and hence many a case he is over qualified for the job else he lacks the much needed domestic experience to be considered for relevant position in few cases. Hence he says Level 9 students get their Indian Bachelors assessed by NZQA which is equivalent to Level 7 on NZ Qualification Framework and then they start applying for jobs on such assessment. Level 9 - Masters usually develops ones research capabilities and enhances your knowledge in a specialized area of engineering and advisable when you have academic aptitude, handsome experience in India and not the least one should gain some local experience before they graduate from the University. [Meant for those who are highly concerned about jobs after course completion leading to work visa, resident visa and such. However, there is an exception to everything in the world.
