Radamel Falcao has warned he will only sign for Manchester United permanently if he is given a more prominent first team role. The Colombian insists he wants to stay at Old Trafford, but admitted he is frustrated by the fact he has been confined to a substitute’s role by niggling injuries and a lack of match sharpness. Falcao has been hampered by a knee problem since signing from Monaco on a season’s loan and has started only three games, making another five appearances from the bench. The 28-year-old appreciates he has to be patient given the competition for places in United’s attack, but he is also realistic. At his age and with his pedigree, he does not want to be a member of the supporting cast. “From my point of view, yes, I want to stay but obviously I have to analyse the situation,” said Falcao, whose only goal for United came in the 2-1 win over Everton at the start of October. -----------------®GGMU--------------------
