----- Believe Not In Prophecy ----- I am not saying or explaining this to condemn them for I know it is not just to do so but I explain this so you will not be an attendant to any person or groups of persons who may in the name our Lord Jesus claim to be a prophet or prophets interpreting God’s words or claim to be a person whom God communicates your problems to. In our society today, we have so many people who claim to be interpreting the messages of God as prophets or prophetess, with some just doing it to earn a living. If you read the Book of Hebrews 1:1-2, you will confirm with me here that Paul who wrote this letter points out that: “Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world.” (Hebrews 1:1-2 English Version). Why then should people come out to bear the name “Prophets” and you go to listen to what they say? Things on this earth are just very simple if you can follow the words of God. Ok, ask yourself this simple question? Will your wish be granted if you ask God through a man or through the Heir? Before answering, remember that our Lord Jesus Christ is the Heir of God! If there is anything bothering you and you tend to need help, just pray and speak to God in prayers through His Only Son – Jesus Christ than to go out there and listen to people who claim to be closer to God than you do. Have you ever ask yourself what will make God talk to them about your problems or maybe help you through them and not through you? Are they better than you do? Just ask questions and be constant in reading the Bible for every word for the righteous are in there. Things will just work fine if you follow and practice what is in the Holy Bible.
