A respected staffing firm, gave me a short term contract. !!!--- I still feel I was treated fairly.---!!! -----I called in twice, over a short period of weeks, for a day off due to lack of sleep. It was a fulltime overnight shortterm temporary contract. -----On my second request for absence, they said they could not use me anymore on the contract. But they did say they would use me on future contracts; and there are still many blessings herein. -----There was no promise of a temp-to-hire implied, by the temp company or the client; I did not expect it. -----As bosses say, in most business circles,If you keep talking, it will go worse for you. Therefore reasons, excuses and explanations arent only useless but also toxic. -----I was treated fairly; by the respected staffing company, by the client and by each of my co-employees. .
