We usually let it sit for at least two or three days in moderate to warm temperatures, and may reapply a second coat to maintain a wet surface. Then we remove the excess and lifted contaminants by wiping down with cotton diapers saturated with your PC product. No water is ever used. The leather comes out obscenely soft and buttery.
