--- Director of R&D --- You will be responsible for designing, building and delivering products and services. The ideal candidate will be able to explore new technologies and state-of-the architectures and implement them rapidly. Initiate, promote and implement engineering best practices Lead the product development team, coach and guide the team members Be agile, adapt quickly to the fast paced environment the group is working in, while not losing sight of the big picture Personally develop & maintain the products back-end Ensure all product releases meet the functionality, performance and quality standards Embrace new architectures and technologies Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in R&D management Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies, Internet and mobile applications and services and emerging trends Proven experience in Web technologies and frameworks: JS, Python, MongoDB, Analytics, Browser add-ons Mobile development experience (Android, iOS) – a plus Roll-up-your-sleeves entrepreneurial, start-up attitude Flexibility to deal with a rapidly changing environment
