----JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE DAAAVES----- 3 HOURS OF FUTSAL, ,, under a bridge up two train stops from my place with skinny, FAST! and fairly decent Thai futsal players. Considering I just celebrated my 19th anniversary of my 21st Bday two months ago, I didnt know I had it in me,, NO REALLY, I DIDNT KNOW I HAD IT IN ME!!!!! But I must say I hung with the best of them, 3 shots- 0 goals, 2 assists that resulted in goals, 7 saves and 1 goal against. We won 7 - 2,, winner stays lads! ( see nike commercial) Not to shabby for a fat old farang as they say here ( whiteboy). My first two touches were a complete miss. Then when i megged the left forward for and assist to goal, I had even the other team coming and congratulating me!!!!! lol Then my turn in goal I made a diving save and my whole team nicknamed me Schmeichel! Little did they the know the McCrea boys schooled me in Schmeichel, possibly Man. Us best keeper ever!!! so i considered that a real honor!! For that MIchael, Kevin, and Bubba, I SALUTE YOU! It finally paid off! They were so impressed they shared their whiskey and water with me and invited me back,,telling me , every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, you play here! lol Wow, what a cool experience Originally I had set out to put my first marks on wall i scouted yesterday,, and watched them play while surveying the area for security and cops. I set off with a backpack full of paint cans and caps and gloves, but was totally surprised today when they invited me to play. I was so happy they invited me and had a blast. I was drenched in sweat, my legs feel like noodles, and ached just walking down the stairs from the train tracks, but yet I feel really happy, nothin few laps in the pool wont cure and couple gallons of water to replenish myself, hahaha,, Since they were offering me whiskey I didnt see the point in letting them know I had already had 3 huge rum and cokes to build up the courage to go publicly paint for the first time,, unauthorized, well, uh,, in Thailand anyways, hahahaha. Overall , what a cool experience, and Ill see those boys again , Monday maybe,, lol,,
