---Aug. 29, 1990 Stumbling as I search For ultimate happiness... Can it be found? So fleeting, glimmers of light... fading into darkness, Is there meaning to this life? If so, where can it be found? Questions with no answers, Pain, so intense~ Seemingly endless, intertwined with emptiness. God, are you there? Why are you silent? Needing... wanting to find you, yet not knowing how. Empty promises of religion, Passions out of control Appetites raging Only to experience less satisfaction, Betrayal. Where does it all end? For me, it all ended in a cornfield. Yet, this is where it all began ~miles from nowhere. The ground where my dads life ended. There could be no sadder place. My eternal destination determined that evening. Standing there in total desperation and brokenness. Bleeding... heart shattered. ~My Father opened heavens door ~For me. My starving soul received life-giving nourishment. In between the sobs, When I thought I could not take another breath, ...nor wanted to, darkness transformed into light ~never to know darkness again. As my outstretched hands took hold of His. He had always been there, one invitation away from turning my brokenness into wholeness, as this lost child found the loving arms of my Abba. Covered... drenched in the Blood of the Lamb~ Tasting Christ for the very first time. Rebirth.. My journey begins...
