-- CHAMPIONS -- Machhapuchhre Cricket Club won the finals easily against their so called rivals Pokhara Cricket Club by huge margin of 90 runs. Due to some paper work issues all rounder Vishu Pandey & Prem Rana were not allowed to play the finals but still MCC as a real good team put behind that obstacles and still emerged winners in the final encounter. From good team MCC proved they are the greatest team to bless this district within this short period of time. Once known as a one man army team is now so strong in every department that oppositions just have no clue about their skills and confidence. MCC won the toss and decided to bat in the 35 overs provided by the umpires. The openers were rock solid and put on a 50 runs partnership and put on a good foundation to flourish in the end for the all rounders to explode. MCC finished with 166 on the board and that was enough for the skipper to play with the opponents because just one team had crossed the 100 run mark against MCC in the tournament and that was by CCC when they batted first. MCC just humiliated PCC in the finals and won by a huge margin. For MCC Karan Kc bowled his heart out and took 2 wickets in his 7 over non stop bowling spell from the start. Bibek Tiwari & Razu K. Gurung equally supported him and bagged couple of wicket themselves. Man Of The Finals was Bibek Tiwari for his all round performance of 33 not out runs and 3 crucial wickets. Best Batsman of the tournament was Rajesh Shahi of MCC for his consistent scoring with bat throughout the tournament. Well Done Club Cheers
