=\//-/= Happy Birthday, Edward Van Halen =\//-/= While he who holds the title “Greatest Guitarist of All Time” is up for debate and subject to opinion, the notion that the timeline of Rock and Roll guitar rests firmly upon the fulcrum of 1978 is irrefutable fact. The guitar world is divided into two distinct eras: pre and post Eddie Van Halen. The opening riff of “Ain’t Talkin’ ‘Bout Love” still sends my hand to the volume and foot to the floor.
