All 3 dogs may have been abandoned by the same owner, or, they could have voluntarily banded together for security. If Stavros was acting as the father figure and Hera played the mom, then Poseidon was the immature kid. He’s a lightweight at only 48-pounds and he could stand to add just a bit of bulk. How sad to think that he may have been hungry during his time on the streets. More sadness is about to enter this one-year-old’s life when he’s walked to his death tomorrow. Please don’t let them wipe the smile from this caramel colored bundle of joy’s face. Poseidon appears to be in good healthy and he’s behaved relatively mannerly considering his circumstances. He aced his behavioral evaluation, and is available for public adoption tonight. He’d make a great pet for a family or for a devoted single New Yorker. Please advocate for Poseidon before it’s too late. TO BE DESTROYED 8/25/13
