- DO YOU LOVE ANIMALS? ME TOO, BUT……. ` I don’t agree with this “exaltation” of animals that has become popular over the years, (almost to the point of ANIMAL WORSHIP). ` ` While I do find man-made abuses disgusting, (such as; poaching, elephant tusk hunting, and any man-made activity that causes an extinction of a species)… as despicable as humans can be, I Never lose sight of Man’s supremacy on the planet, above ALL OTHER SPECIES. ` ` Nevertheless, it’s God’s expectation of Mankind that he care for animals (Proverbs 12:10), but… we are never to regard any species of animal as equal to, or supreme over, a human being! ` ` YOU are special! There is NO HIGHER CREATION above YOU! It’s written in the ancient Scripture text, as King David, (under the supernatural power & influence of the Holy Spirit) penned the question, “What is Man… that You (God) are mindful of him?” [Psalm 8:4], and the next verse says, “You have made him a little lower than GOD! [Psalm 8:5 NASB]. Can you IMAGINE how IMPORTANT you are to Him?! ` ` While it’s true that Mankind isn’t living up to his potential;… that doesn’t subtract from his (or her) worth in the eyes of God, their Creator. YOU are UNUSUALLY VALUABLE to God! So much so, that He doesn’t want to lose you! You might be lost, sin-sick, wayward, or afflicted… but that subtracts NOTHING from your potential as His prized Creation! ` Hear me! Nothing’s more INSANE than a Man or Woman who’s separated from his or her God. Nothing’s more COMPLETE and content than a Man or Woman who has submitted to God’s plan for their life. ` ` Although the human race is lost and *HAS CHOSEN* to spin out of control… Nevertheless, when a human being *Reconnects* with his or her God, there is TREMENDOUS CELEBRATION in Heaven over just that one person! (Luke 15:7). I’m SO GLAD you took the time to read this post, since it’s about YOU!… the Special Creation of God.
