- Hmm I let you know, Mommy. - Snickers ~ Fine. Just quit hiding your poop. ----------- His Royal Bratness has special ways of letting me know his disapproves of my lack of hedgehog mind reading powers. Ive posted that he has taken up hiding one of his nightly poops somewhere in his cage while the rest is in his litter box. In the past few days hes refused to snuggle. Just a few pats and kiss and he didnt want any more to do with me. This morning I heard him drinking from his bottle. I figured he was thirsty and the water in his bowl ran out. No problem. When I woke up I saw that he had crumpled up his litter liner (paper towel) into his water bowl. Hes never dragged his litter liner out of the litter pan! I picked up the paper towel to throw it out and I saw he had hidden a piece of poop in his water dish and covered it up with the paper towel!! ***Grrrr!!!*** I lifted his blankie to ask him WTHeck and instead of being under his blanket as usual, he had wadded himself up in between the layers so I couldnt take him out of his blankie! Since my schedule changed and I havent been staying up to play with him I thought maybe he was bored and this was his way of telling me. But, he does not like toys. Snickers isnt a big runner, but he loves to explore his blankie when I make new caves and folds in it. This was my solution. 2 PVC tubes that I can fit together in many different configurations. I put it in his cage so theres openings that come out at different sides of his cage and the angles of the tubes create nooks. With his blankie over it, there are lots of hidey spots and places to explore at night. I let him try it out and he took to it right away. He let me snuggle him and hes sleeping with half of his butt in the tube and half out. I guess he approves! ( Jay )
