- Howd you end up in St. Petersburg? What do you do here now? - I’m an illusionist. I went up to Petersburg to apply all of my «mystic» skills. I’ve always been attracted to this city with its mystique and enigma. It feels like life here is deflected somehow, it flows in a very different dimension; the thread of your thoughts goes calm and steadily, yet, fitting in here was not easy at all. - So how do you go through the trouble? Any advice? - Pray in the morning. This inner dialogue with God; it helps you a lot during the day. You get to understand that everything happens for a reason. It is sent from above for your personal growth, and you learn to be grateful for it. And because of this small act of prayer you stay away from the «emotional swings». You start to see things as the highest wisdom, and start to hear God talking to you through the people you meet. Since childhood I’ve remembered that I should talk, and that it’s very important. Then I got all worked out, forgot this, and recently I’m going back to this truth; that you should talk. - What is your struggle; present and lifetime? - I fight constantly with my laziness. Might be a pretty common struggle, ha (laughs)? I lose a lot here, but I always try to arrange with it. I mean, I give it a day or two, turn off my head, “Ok, laziness, prevail over me! “ I say. Thanks to that, all the ideas then come to life faster. My productivity during the week is higher than if had all these scattered thoughts, got overdriven, and had nothing done after all. Activity depends on the purpose, in the first place. When you see where you’re going, you wake up early. When I’d been learning English, while studying at Teachers University, I’ve had very clear motivation to spend all my weekends at the library, my hands have been covered with crib notes, there have been a reason to wake up at 6 am and work till 12 p. m., because of all the drive. Once I learned English, laziness came back crawling, as I didn’t have the next goal. So back to giving advice, you need to think of the next eight or ten steps at the very beginning.
