- MY STORY - Over the coming weeks I will be putting together stories from the people we have the pleasure of dealing with daily here at RYEN RACING SOLUTIONS, and creating a snapshot of why we love what we do and what makes the people in our industry tick! MY STORY is one of a girl whose biggest regret was walking away from the one thing she loved, and my decision after years of emotional turmoil to go back to what I loved, and finding that once I made that decision my whole life literally changed... And it all started with an email to Mr Patrick Ryen... My name is Maleesa, co-owner of RYEN RACING SOLUTIONS and on a personal level I wanted to share a couple of photos. I am one of those people who left the one thing I loved, horseracing, and became a real estate agent for years. I burnt myself out, hating what I did each day, and the constant negativity in my work life crossed over into my personal life too... I was desperately unhappy so I made a decision for myself one night, that I was not going to let negativity rule me anymore and I was going to start following MY heart... It was tough, i resigned from a high paying real estate management role and I googled Racing Jobs in the hopes of finding something that would let me work during the day, while my son was at school, with thoroughbreds. I found Patrick Ryen Employment Solutions and its founder, Patrick Ryen... I emailed him with my story and my passion for everything horse racing... The response I got was his typical straight down the line questions about where I was located and if I could ride and I knew straight away I had found someone to take me where I needed to go. My emotion driven email must have struck a cord because as you are all aware, he is now my partner in life and business (that story can wait for another day), but let me say that behind the straight down the line business mind is a man who loves racing and its people more than anyone Ive met, and I grew up around the people in racing. He is an amazing advocate for the industry and our sport, he is driven by helping people create their dreams and helping every employer in our country and abroad create the best team to create the best horse racing country in the world. His passion is endless, he will help anyone who deserves the chance to show the world they can dream and have those dreams fulfilled.
