- My moms favorite passage in the Bible was Psalm 91. She would instruct me If you dwell under the feather of the Almighty, you are in a sheltered place. She would remind me the key word in this phrase was dwell . Do not move out from under Gods protection she would say. How easy it is to say, I believe the Bible is the Word of God but then point a finger at those who do not believe this or who do and say things contrary to what Gods hand and word has revealed to us... by Grace... but not to see that, when we do point our finger there our 3 fingers pointing back at us. It is not our place to judge. My mom, by her example, showed me the truth of Philippians 2:12 ... work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
