:-) Proverbs :-) A first grade teacher presented 26 students with the first half of well known proverbs. The six year olds were asked to complete them: 1. Dont change horses - until they stop running 2. Strike while the - bug is close 3. Its always darkest - before daylight savings time 4. Never underestimate the power of - termites 5. When the blind lead the blind - get out of the way 6. Dont bite the hand that - looks dirty 7. No news is - impossible 8. A miss is as good as - a Mr. 9. You cant teach an old dog - math 10. Love all, trust - me 11. If at first you dont succeed - get new batteries 12. A penny saved is - not much 13. Twos company, threes - the Musketeers 14. There are none as blind as - Stevie Wonder 15. Children should be seen and - not spanked or grounded 16. A bird in the hand is - going to poop on you
