--Recently Little Falls Community Schools began the process of comprehensively analyzing the status of their district facilities. They held five public meetings in August and early September at which they were able to receive considerable feedback from people about the current state and the future of their facilities. Following these meetings, the Board of Education approved sending out a Request for Proposal (RFP) to engage an architectural firm. The hiring of TSP Architects was approved by the Board on October 20th. The next step is to invite district stakeholders to become actively involved in the process. The district and TSP will be hosting the first Steering Committee meeting on Thursday, November 6th at 6:30pm in the High School Commons. The role of the Steering Committee will be to frequently interact with the architects as facilities analysis and plans are conceived, developed, discussed, altered, and amended. At the November 6th meeting, attendees will get to meet the architects, listen to the results of previous district facilities studies, learn of the time lines involved, and have the opportunity to interact with others about the direction of the district. All are welcome to attend. More news at fallsradio
