- Roko-needs home and help. Blinded with one eye by a kick in the head. He needs financial help and a good home. Thats Roko-one of many orphans.Hes very clever,very good-natured and very,very sad.One year ago he was kicked in the head.Of course there was no one to take him to a vet clinic.That was so until the 25.06 of 2013 when he was caught,not without difficulties,because he was so afraid of humans,understandably.He was after that taken to a vet clinic.The doctors confirmed a very serious trauma on his left eye,because of that Roko can not go back on the streets.Rokos eyes were examined by two ophthalmologists.During the testing of his eyes,his left pupil could not widen.With the ultrasound test,some aberrations were found-atrophy of the lens,a serious problem with the retina...The left eye is positioned deeper than it should be and so on.In fewer words-the dogs left eye is completely blind,because of trauma.A kick in the head by a good citizen..Regular check ups are needed,in order to keep track of the eye pressure.Again because of the kick,he has many teeth missing...He had developed alergic reaction from fleas,because of which he had some fur missing.Roko heroically endured all manipulations and tests,without a single protest.Dermatological exams,eye exams,x-rays...He was pulled,stretched,put on his back for the x-rays(of course for his good).This boy seemed to understand we tried to help,and let himself in our arms,without even moving too much.He didnt have to be sedated,he was that good.He also had microfilaria,but he is now cured of that.An x-ray shows his heart is a little enlarged,thats why he has to be monitored for coughs and panting.Now Roko is in a dog hotel and clinic,where in july he had a microfilaria test,and was given stronghold.Hes not young,around 10,and with all his issues he cant go back on the streets. This poor boy needs help-sharing his story and album is the way he can get the help and forever home he needs.Lets bring hope back to this poor soul,hes been through so much!
