- Réminiscences - THE HORDE par Luis Gerardo Ramos The horde , portrays another face of the “Barrismo” in Mexico, one full of motivation, organization, sacrifices and passion that often takes them up to death. The origins of the Mexican fans, the adjustments of the Latin-American horde and the inevitable violence that has been generated in clashes by the police and amongst the same groups. It is a story seen through the eyes of the two leaders of the most representative fan-groups of Mexican football: Libres y Lokos (Tigres) and La Rebel (Pumas). Almost fifteen years since the appearance of the Brave Bars of Football in Mexico and how the authorities and some mass media have approached this social phenomenon. The Horde , the first full-lenght film of Mexican director Luis Gerardo Ramos, includes songs of Fanatical Club Band lead Latin-American band of the “Futrock” genre. The documentary relies on the participation of the writer Juan Villoro, as well as the opinion of the psychologist Zenon Guzmán. This work has been awarded with a Special Jury Mention at the IV Monterrey International Film Festival.
