--SOMEONE YOU SHOULD KNOW by Christopher B. Davidson: An unplugged, acoustic, one hour concert by The Corrs - an Irish band that combine rock with traditional Celtic Irish folk themes within their music. The group consists of the Corr siblings, Andrea (lead vocals, tin whistle); Sharon (violin, vocals); Caroline (drums, percussion, piano, bodhrán, vocals); and Jim (guitar, piano, keyboards, vocals). They are from Dundalk, Co. Louth, in Ireland. Now YOU say... but I already know The CORRS... then I say... In their need to be a pop/rock band to be a hit - they have added many modern elements to their Celtic Irish musical folk roots. In this MTV You Tube concert they are stripped down to their roots (even though an orchestra sits in the background at times. I have been a BIG FAN of the CORRS for years... but this concert not only reminds me of why I have enjoyed them through the years, but has also made me fall in love with them all over again.
