- Tonight we were at Buca DiBeppo for an early family dinner. After dinner We walked out and were standing on the sidewalk chatting and saying goodbye when something black and sticky landed on my husbands shirt. We thought it was a berry or something from a tree, so brushed it off and keep chatting. Next thing we know more are coming down. We looked up and saw a couple of heads quickly disappear on the top level of the parking structure. A few more of the sticky balls hit us a few seconds later. I went in to mention this to the Buca staff and apparently this is not the first time their customers and people walking along the sidewalk have been hit. The Manager was really ticked off that this was happening. These boys were using tapioca balls from bubble tea and shooting through the straws at people below. Security went up the elevator, Buca staff up the stairs and I headed up in my car. 3 teen boys with skateboards and their bubble teas and straws were dashing across the top deck and down the stairs. Just thought Id warn people in case it continues to happen.
