Latest wind gust 46km/h. - Fire - Hot gusting winds moving across VIC/NSW coupled with the risk of dry lightning strikes is causing fire danger to soar in many areas. Fortunately for Albury, after recent heavy rain, the hills are still green. Fire danger rating currently Low-Moderate. - Water - At this stage we are expecting up to 10-15mm rain overnight with isolated thunderstorms. - Observations - Temperature currently 29.6°C, almost swimming weather! Although I dipped a toe at Nouriel Park, felt like minus 10! Barometer has dropped 7 hPa in the last 8 hours to 1007 hPa and continues to fall.
