- this talk of a moderate opposition is honestly bull, their never was a moderate opposition. This all relates to a simple pipeline that would have been built through Syria from Saudi Arabia and qatar which would supply Europe with cheap gas, that Russia currently supplies. You always hear all this about transforming Syria, Egypt, Libya Iraq and Iran into democratic states, yet never hear about bringing in the the Arabian Dictatorships. Hypocrisy at its finiest, it was always about regime change never what the people of every nation mentioned above wanted. If you want to stop this mess, start foreign funding for the terrorists aka Saudi Arabia and Qatar, those are the real terrorist states.
