#0619 86 Signs that youre Escolarian (Reposted and Updated from 45) 86 Signs that youre Escolarian (Reposted and Updated from 45) Lets have a coffee break from confessions, stories, crushes, etc. (This post is mainly just for fun, dont take it too seriously) Here are some indications that youre an Escolarian... *Note: These are just based purely from observations, stories, and rumours. (You might relate with a few items, especially if youre from CEU Manila...) *Gonna graduate soon, so I just wanna share all my experiences on our beloved Pink School... Hope you have fun reading! Signs that youre Escolarian: 1. You might notice that Jansport is the unofficial bag of the students. 2. The ladies daily uniform are always mistaken for Nursing students... (Even if your course is far from that field.) 3. The Males former daily uniform (polo shirt) is often mistaken for the baggers from groceries. While the new one is teased to be the bus conductors uniform. 4. McDonalds Mendiola is like the schools extended cafeteria. 5. Rallies every week is a norm for you. 6. Coloured hair is common among students. 7. Youll meet a lot of irregular students. 8. Youll encounter different kinds of personalities. 9. Youll see a lot of pretty faces. 10. Youve been a victim of Cleaning Time in restrooms when you really need it... 11. Make up is slowly becoming part of the uniform. 12. The members of SSS (Short Skirt Society) is also increasing. 13. You took the subject Social Arts. 14. You were forced to memorize the CEU Hymn 15. Sadly, you just remembered the beginning and the end of the hymn... 16. Youll also to participate on a fashion show for the exam on this subject. 17. Expect long lines. (Especially during enrollment or the week before exams) 18. Youre required to visit museums for Humanities. 19. Youve been to the schools museum. 20. You get tired of going up and down the stairs (especially at Dent. Sci.) 21. Youve visited the schools chapel. 22. Youll read a lot of vandalisms on the chairs. 23. Youve encountered the Red Chair Stain from Dent. Sci. 24. You swam on the universitys swimming pool. 25. You stayed in the Library at noon time just to beat the heat outside. 26. You hanged out at ISC. 27. Youve been to SM Manila. 28. Youve been to at least 1 out 3 Pericos nearby. 29. Youve been to the Strip. 30. You love Fridays and Saturdays because you could wear jeans. 31. You wear the NSTP shirt just to avoid wearing your daily uniform. 32. Your USB got infected by a virus on the computer shops nearby. 33. Youll encounter deadspots for your cellphone signal on some areas of the campus. 34. Youve stayed on an empty classroom while waiting for your next class. 35. One of you favorite lines might be: Sana walang prof, May klase ba?, Wag ka nang pumasok, Kain tayo, Pahinging papel, or 15 minutes na walang prof... Tara na!. 36. Youll visit St. Jude on the Thursday before exams. 37. Youve crossed the Temple Run bridge along the creek beside CEU Mendiola. 38. You have a foreign language subject. 39. iPhone/iPads are everywhere. 40. Sling bags are becoming popular among male students. 41. You still dont know all buildings, and sometimes get lost. 42. You watched a play on the auditorium or other places like PETA or SM Sta. Mesa. 43. You went to Ninoy Aquino Stadium. 44. You lost hope regarding on the online grades. 45. You experienced the Sampaguita Interlude. 46. You look forward to the Mr. & Ms. CEU Pageant. 47. Youve heard the terms EARS 1 & EARS 2. 48. Lines for the college shirt when theyre first released are like paydays at the ATM. 49. You now have no reason to be late. Thanks to the large LED clocks installed as you enter the gates. 50. You took pictures on the large C E U wood carvings near the SAO. 51. You witnessed at least one of our colleges big events like HRM Expo, Tourism Festival, Bottle of the Bottles, etc. To name a few... 52. You viewed or joined the Facebook group Taga CEU ka kung? 53. You hangout on the Friendship Area when meeting someone 54. You already saw the CEU Mascot. 55. Youll have a hard time finding a seat at the library during Hell Week. 56. You will try and avoid to print papers on the library because of its ludicrous price. 57. Some security guards are your buddies or enemies (tinataguan in this case) 58. You danced on your PE class. 59. You attended a class recollection 60. Just like filing tax, some fall in line with the blistering heat just to get your test permit at the accounting office. 61. You dont get the point of putting prices for the promissory notes. Youre already short on cash and yet you still need to pay for it. Wheres the justice? Haha. 62. You still wonder why the subjects STS and Social Arts still exist, values with these subjects are learned from either Grade School or High School. 63. You still look forward for our school to be part of UAAP or NCAA. 64. Guards make tusok-tusok of our bags upon entering the campus. Were not street food, they should inspect it not just poke it. 65. Just like one of my old posts, you need your blood to be extracted for blood typing for Social Arts. (In our case at least) 66. You almost all lookalike on grad pics... (Due to the studios style of make up). 67. Hungry? No problem, let TC be a pitstop for ya. They have food stalls and the CO-OP for your hunger or other petty needs. 68. Regarding on number 67, some just drop by at DCTH, looks at the cooking lab windows. Hoping for someone they know are cooking. So yeah, what are friends for? (Free food!) Joke. Peace! Hahaha 69. As I observe, not to generalize though. The higher the year level, the more altered the uniforms. Haha 70.Your umbrella got lost for an unknown reason on a rainy day. (Twice in my case) 71. Suspension of classes are almost impossible. Aside from the rants, I frequently see these hashtags on my FB or IG as well... #Fishcolarians #CEUPinkDolphins #CEUWaterproof To name a few... (Credits to the terms) 72. You always wonder if TBIs are really anonymous. Just be courteous to be safe... Haha. 73. Ghosts stories at school are almost infinite. (Thanks for more than 100 years of existence of our school, and old fixtures as well) 74. The school is filled with lots of car show or freelance models. 75. The school needs pests control, seriously. I dont want Mickey Mouse or Papa Roach to accompany me during enrollment. Please. 76. Free Cut = Kain; No classes/Holiday (Announced) = Gimmick; No Classes (Unannounced) = Shot/Hangout at a friends crib; After Intrams Opening = Freedom! Too many stories. Students versions may vary. Lol. Truancy, a college students worst temptation. Haha 77. Even if youre not from NHM, you might encounter a (College Exclusive) true CEU legend. Its a must have experience. (Almost all Tourism and HRM students know what I mean.) Some famous lines: - Good morning beautiful children of God! - Why prolong the agony...? If you can drop the subject! - (On a yellow pad) Itaas niyo ang may mga assignments, ITAAS PA, IWAGAYWAY, sa KALIWA, sa KANAN... OK, check na yan! *I learned a lot of things, lessons, and famous/infamous/catchy/wise quotes from this CEU legend. :)) 78. Library = Charging Station, for some. Haha 79. You watched/noticed dance practices on FA beside the clinic. 80. You know at least one transferee student from UST. 81. For irregular students, youll roam around the campus to look for another irregular student to keep you company. 82. Youre not familiar with the school buildings full names. 83. You take the library as a shortcut from DCTH to CDL. 84. Birthday surprises are common especially at TC, some even have cakes with lit candles walking around. Haha 85. The Freedom wall on TC is now a Birthday wall. Almost all post are greetings. Haha. 86. Reading all these numbers. Haha. Thanks Escolarians! Here are just some situations of a typical Escolarian...
