(1)RECOVERED-TRUTH (from studying Hebrew/Greek manuscript Biblical copies): The Greek phrase “KURIOS HO THEOS” (which, on the surface, would seem to be translated “Lord the God,” which is usually translated “Lord God” in English translations) was actually a device used in respect for God’s name (because of the inability to TRANSLITERATE God’s name properly because the GREEK ALPHABET does not have a “W”). In this case, God’s name “YiHayWaH” (pronounced “Yee-Hay-Wah”, which in Hebrew means “He-is-being”) was replaced by the word “KURIOS” which means “Lord”, so that a Greek reader would not leave out the “W” in God’s name. However, the ENGLISH ALPHABET does not have the same limitation, so a translator of the Greek Bible should RECOVER the phrase as “YiHayWah the God” rather than “Lord God.” Think about it, as we get to know a person better, we should learn to say his or her name correctly.
