#1 rule of thumb when you are in sales, regardless of privately - TopicsExpress

#1 rule of thumb when you are in sales, regardless of privately for fun, or an actual licensed proffesional dealer of goods: Always make sure your customer is happy with their purchase. If not for whatever reason, especially if you made an error, your 1st priority should be making sure you tend to that issue now, resolving the issue by whatever means necessary in a timely manner, even if it means taking a loss. By doing so, you are not only accepting responsibility for your error, possibly gaining your customers trust back, resulting in them coming back to you again, and insuring your reputation is not tarnished. Funny, we all expect that type of treatment when we go to a restaurant, we order something, get what we get is not what we asked for, we want it fixed now. We all have that Burger King mentality, our way, right away. But so very few are willing to understand the concept of true customer service wen it comes to their being accountable for their business transactions. Hence the reason for the BBB (Better Business Bureau). Ive been very patient now waiting for a few gentlemen to make good on their word to fix their error, sending me figs thats are far less than mint as they were described. I dont give a shit if they were purchased in a lot and I supposed got a deal. Its your word, the principle. Its been almost 2 months... My patience runneth thin. You know who you are.
