$1000 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM Scholarship recipients get $1000 to use towards their college education. To qualify, the recipient must: Write an essay of how the martial arts and training at Martial Arts and More has benefited their life and their families lives. Be a member of the Leadership Program. Student does not have to earn the rank of Black Belt but must be accomplished in the martial arts. Passed the instructor certification classes. Completed the psychology of winning. Log in hours as a mentor to younger students. The number of hours can vary. Promote the martial arts as a positive lifestyle. Complete the Goals Setting Seminar Maintain an “A” average in High School. “B” average students can apply and add other accomplishments to resume. Participate in Academy Events and Fundraisers Resume and essay gets turned into Chief Instructor. A committee of Instructors, Staff Members, and VIPs will decide whom gets the scholarships.
