#100days of Gratitude 1. Angelo. On this day, eight years ago, after crying my eyes out all night because Suki had been killed the day before, I looked through the window of the 10x10 ft. shed I was living in, and this amazing black and white dog was staring in at me with his head tilted. 2. Whatever part of the universe or God or people or dogs or all of the above that brought him into my life... Truly, he is one of the greatest blessings I have ever known. 3. Casey from UPS and God and all the amazing people that brought him back to me after his 40-day disappearance that later wound up being the basis of his first book, Angelos Journey. 4. 2,882 dawns that weve faced together... whether sunny or cloudy or snowy or rain or whatever... those beautiful brown eyes have been there to wake me up and encourage the creaky old bones to get moving....
