€11, 423.00 in Capital Grant funding has been allocated to the Clare Youth Service from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The funding has been allocated towards the cost of computer and office equipment. Clare Youth Services do excellent work with the young people of Clare and I am very pleased that they have secured this funding. The Capital funding scheme for small to medium capital grants remains open to applications from the Department of Children and Youth Affairs. The grant scheme remains open for applications in early 2015 for capital projects related to health and safety improvements to premises. I would encourage youth groups working in the sector who need to make improvements or upgrade buildings to consider applying for this funding.
