~12th Rabbi-ul-Awwal and Sahaaba!~ AHMAD RAZA KHAN Says: Prophet(Peace be upon him) was born on 8 Rabbi-ul-awwal and died on 12 Rabbi-ul-awwal. [FATAWA RIZWIYA JILD 26 PAGE 412 . Just Imagine how was the Situation of Madinah on 12th of Rabbi-ul-Awwal. . Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet (ﷺ) in his ailment in which he died, used to say, O `Aisha! I still feel the pain caused by the food I ate at Khaibar, and at this time, I feel as if my aorta is being cut from that poison. [Sahih al-Bukhari » Book of Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Hadith#4428] . Narrated Ibn `Abbas:Thursday! And how great that Thursday was! The ailment of Allahs Messenger (ﷺ) became worse (on Thursday). [Sahih al-Bukhari » Book of Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Hadith#4431] . Narrated Aisha(Radiallah Anha):I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) in his fatal disease, with his voice becoming hoarse, saying, In the company of those on whom is the grace of Allah [Sahih al-Bukhari » Book of Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Hadith4435] . It was narrated that ‘Aishah said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when he was dying, and there was a bowl of water next to him. He put his hand in the vessel and wiped his face with the water, and said: ‘O Allah, help me to bear the agonies of death.’” [Sunan Ibn Majah » Chapters Regarding Funerals Hadith#1623] . Were Sahaba Celebrating on the 12th of Rabbi-ul-Awwal? . It was narrated that Anas said: “On the day when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered Al-Madinah, everything was lit up, and on the day when he died, everything went dark. [Sunan Ibn Majah » Chapters Regarding Funerals Hadith#1631] . Narrated Anas:When the ailment of the Prophet (ﷺ) got aggravated, he became unconscious whereupon Fatima said, Oh, how distressed my father is! He said, Your father will have no more distress after today. When he expired, she said, O Father! Who has responded to the call of the Lord Who has invited him! O Father, whose dwelling place is the Garden of Paradise (i.e. Al-Firdaus)! O Father! We convey this news (of your death) to Gabriel. When he was buried, Fatima said, O Anas! Do you feel pleased to throw earth over Allahs Messenger (ﷺ)? [Sahih al-Bukhari » Book of Military Expeditions led by the Prophet (pbuh) (Al-Maghaazi) Hadith 4462] . Conclusion: One of the Urdu Poety has rightly said: . Shaitan bhi kiya khel khilwata hai . Nabi ki Maut par jashan Aur Nawasey ki maut par gham manwata hai.“
