#15173 Hey intians, here are some question for you guys... are you indian? chineese? malay? or from any other race?. do you have muslim friends with hijab? what do you think of those who wear hijab(scarf) ?? do you guys differentiate us from others?? I want to ask you guys, If you were the only girl in your class who wears scarf ( hijab) and you feel discriminated by a chinese lecturer, what will you do? guys. m going through a very hard time...i dont feel like studying..i feel like giving up everything...do you knw why?? well the reason is a LECTURER! yes my lecturer differentiate me from others in my class.. i try to do the best in every assignment he/she asks. yes I may be weak compare to others but he/she is overly rude to me. If a chinese classmate finished half of the work even he/she would be nice to them. Talk to them politely. but when my turn comes all of a sudden her volume goes to the maximum that she thinks i am deaf when I wear scarf. Trust me, because of him/her I dont feel like focusing on any other 6 subjects i am taking. I am thinking of bunking some classes even in fear of her. She reminds me of a ghost in horror movies. ( HARD TO DESCRIBE HER FACE AND RUDENESS IN A CONFESSION) I feel its useless to go and tell to head of department. However, if these are continuing I really wish to consider that too. If you feel like you are being discriminated, voice it out. If possible, get one or two of your classmates to be your witness and support your claims. Thatll further validate your complaint.
