It was built to pay tribute to the brave warriors who sacrificed their lives for our nation, including the soldiers and police who were killed in the war. Close to the Federal Parliament Building and embraced by scenic lake view, every year commemorating Warrior’s Day on 31st July, there will be bunch of people presenting wreath to pay homage to the fallen heroes. The monument construction started in year 1960, and completed within 6 years. Our heroes protected our homeland, and sacrifice upon our nation, without fear.
