#199: Fight Club (1999) - A Highly conceptual, highly amusing, and absolutely near perfect! David Fincher stunningly brings Chuck Palahniuks novel to life with this cult classic (15 years is long enough to claim classic status, right?), and fills the screen with a grade A cast and striking visuals. The score, done by techno group, The Dust Brothers, is fun, upbeat, and sometimes silly. Fight Club is at once intriguing and funny, it is a buddy comedy with a streak of wickedness. It is a film that keeps evolving from the moment it starts, and concludes in grandiose anarchist glee. There is so much to love about this film.
