$2,475 is the price I have to pay for the very small fraction of photos they found on my hard drive that crashed last year. They could find no other new files. So they have charged my account and are sending me the disc with the photos on it as well as my hard drive. When I say a fraction of the photos were found, I mean like maybe 5% of what was actually on there. I lost two weddings that werent done being edited among those pictures. I lost the last almost 3 years of my life with Scott, which would be Coras entire life. I want to sit here and cry about it but Im going to focus on what I have rather than what I dont. It hurts me that Scott is gone and it hurts that all those pictures of him and the girls and him and I and all of us are gone. But I still have my babies. I still have the memories, and I have new family to make new memories with and thats a lot to be thankful for. You cant take pictures with you when God calls you home, and Im probably going to end up bawling my eyes out tonight anyway after the girls go to bed, but in all seriousness, I am thankful I had the time with Scott to make those memories, whether I have them documented or not. They happened. We lived them. God gave us those years together, among many others. Pictures are only the cherry on top. The cherry isnt the best part, the ice cream is and I got the ice cream. I thank God for that ice cream because thats what really matters.
