The Metal Depot Late Model stars and cars will battle,all seeking to grab the big money. Twenty plus cars are expected from the tri-state area. Goldboro speedster Clay Jones, Knightdales Bradley McCaskill and a host of other drivers are all looking to be in victory lane after 100 laps. Drivers eligible to win the big money have run at least the last 3 features at the track if they havent they are still eligible for a $500 halfway bonus and $1000 to win. The Pepsi/ Mt.Dew Kick Start UCARS/ 4 Cylinder warriors will run a 25 lap feature event with Raleigh driver Jeremy Ottaway, Justin Fussell, Saford and Hickorys A.J. Saunders plus UCAR driver Patrick Arch from Clayton all vying for another trip to victory lane. Dennis The Dominator Capps will be looking to extend his point lead in the 25 lap Modified Four Cylinder event.The multi time track champion has his eyes on yet another title with a strong opening night victory. Dillon Spain, Clayton is having a storybook season in the Legends Division. The Clayton Comet is having a fantastic season at the bullring and will be looking once again for the checkered flag in the 20 lap race for the Legends. Kade Lambert headlines a great field of young guns in the 15 lap Bandolero feature. Wake County Speedway is located at 2109 Simpkins Road, Raleigh,N.C. off Highway 401 South.
