*** 2014 MY LAST WISH: ISABELLE, THE BEST BEHAVED, LAID-BACK PETBULL MIX GAL!!!*** Hi there! My name is Isabelle, and Im a beautiful PETbull mix! One day, the person who had me AND my babies---Yes, NOT only me, but my entire little family!----put into the car, drove up to the little pound BEFORE opening, just dump us there like a garbage, and drove off like no big deal..... Yep, its a very matured & responsible thing to do for grown-up!!! When the staff came and found us, they were( of course) very surprised to see us there. I wanted to explain, but I couldnt speak English---and my babies were screaming, very hungry. They immediately took all of us into the building and gave us a good bathing: Forgot to tell you, we were stinky and covered by fleas....this was telling the staff exactly what kind of environment we were in... This is how our GDA life started. Fortunately, some of supporters stepped up for fostering my babies, and all my babies were eventually able to join Austin Humane Society, which Im forever grateful! Im a very laid-back, couch-potato kinda gal. Im around 3-4 years old and take it easy! I love everybody I meet and get along well with other dogs. Im a total package! HOWEVER, my adoption has been pretty struggling, because of my breed( PETbull mix)...and GDA probably has the MORE PETbulls and their mixes than any other shelter, I swear! It was nice NOT to be judged by my breed here but at the same time, competition to get attention from visitors are tough, because so many of PETbull mix guys here, too, are dying to get their forever families... Im one of those many GOOD PETbull mixes who just need another chance... Christmas is over, but I still am hoping I would get out of here WITHIN this year...while my adoption fee is ONLY $50!
