**2015 FEST NEWS ALERT**2015FEST NEWS ALERT**2015 FEST NEWS ALERT** THE DATE HAS BEEN SET: Atlanta GA will play host to the The 10th Anniversary of The BPC Poetryfest in 2015!!! Festivities will take place between Thursday, 6/11/15 and will continue thru to Saturday, 6/13/15!! SUBMISSIONS TO *FEATURE* or *PERFORM* can be sent to 1MarkGoggins@gmail // and will *ONLY* be accepted from FRIDAY 7/11/14 thru FRIDAY 7/18/14 – and can include: vid links to performances, MP3’s, etc… Although this much anticipated event is scheduled to take place a little less than a year away; our leader & big boss man, Mr. Mark Goggins has **ALREADY** begun making preparations for the 10th Annual gathering of The Black Poetry Café’s members, aka The BPC PoetryFest!! The 10th Anniversary of The BPC Poetryfest will not only the **BIGGEST**, but as well – will easily be the **MOST IMPRESSIVE** PoetryFest yet!! Merriment will begin on Thurs. June 11, 2015 with the highly requested “Put Yo Money Where Yo Mic Is” Open Mic/Slam Competition!! ….Winner will not only receive a $$$ Prize and BPC Trophy but will also cop a Featured Performer spot @ The 2016 BPC Poetryfest… :D Also on the Agenda – are two *HUGE* BPC Artist Showcases (with pre-selected features & performers) that will take place on Friday 6/12/15 and on Saturday 6/13/15 ((and *IF* times allows at the end of either ShowCase, BPC will OPEN the MIC back up, to allow a few travelers & attendees to *SHINE* their Poetic lights via the BPC stage-front!))..... Auxiliary show details and venue locations to be broadcast on future dates…. Poetryfest special announcements, dates & deadlines, happenins’ & goin-ons’, party bus participation & payments, etc, etc, etc… will continue to be disseminated throughout the year by longtime BPC Member & Fest Coordinator, Ms. Adrienne Horn. BPC Performers & Attendees will also once again have the opportunity to take part in the Blessed Angels ‘Outreach Program’ for the Homeless Community. The 2015 give back will be headed up by Blessed Angels Founder, Ms. Christine Alicia Washington and BPC’s own StarChasr Shai Carter As those who attend thise years 9th Annual BPC PoetryFest already know, the official ending only took place after that last inspirational #lobbylife pic had been taken, when that unhappy teary-eyed hug had taken place and when that last rental car had finally pulled out of the hotel parking lot …. Atlanta, WE said we would be back ----> AND WE MEANT IT DAMNIT!! Be on the look-out for more Fest info….!!
