#2027 This is my second confession. One day, i read a comment made by a girl on this page, and i was quite impressed with her English language skills. That prompted me to click on her Facebook profile and give her FB Timeline a cursory glance. I read her posts, and she came across as a creative writer, and an intellectual thinker. I saw that our views on a variety of things were very similar. I was very keen to befriend her. I replied to her comment on JCs status, and expressed my desire to befriend her - publicly! I could do so, because i was hiding behind the facade of anonymity. Moreover, i somehow valued her more than my self-respect. But, surprisingly -- and i say surprisingly because she in all likelihood is very social -- she didnt even acknowledge my existence. She did not have the basic courtesy to reply. I was very disappointed, but then i thought that she must have taken me for some despo philanderer. This is my message for the girl: Dear friend, notwithstanding your arrogance, i still believe that you are an amazing woman, and very grounded. By now i have read a lot of your public posts. I respect you, adore you, and admire you. I want to be in a position to talk to you regularly - as a friend. And i dont think the fact that we dont know each other should stop us from getting acquainted with each other. We do meet new people, dont we? I have no idea WHY i am in awe of you. Do not deny me the opportunity to talk to you, and do not deny yourself the opportunity to know who i am. I repeat: I respect you, admire you and adore you, and i dont want to give these emotions a name.
