$28 later, prepackaged 24 bags with organic fruits, veggies and supplements. (Kale, spinach, bananas, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, maca, spirulina, moringa powder, goji powder, hemp seeds, Chia seeds) no measuring (I hardly ever do), just a little bit of everything and different mixes in the bags. Took me about 30 minutes to prep all of these, including clean up and placing in the freezer. Theres nothing to cut up its all ready for you to toss into bags if you buy it frozen already. They will make for great breakfast when theres not a lot of extra time in the morning. Also I used thick freezer bags so after blending it all up you can toss it back in the bag and stick a straw in it to go. (Recycle the bag when youre done, and purchase reusable straws) Most smoothies out cost on average $5 or more, and they dont include supplements you prefer, and most of the time they arent organic either. (Those cost $7 or more per smoothie) Also, I dont add the full recommended amount / serving for each supplement, I just use about 1/4, because there are so many nutrients in the other things added theres no need. Sometimes we overdo it and end up spending and wasting a lot of money with supplements. I dont always add them in either, supplements should be used when you need the extra immune boost, or if something is lacking in your diet otherwise. I use them seasonally, or when I feel my energy is low. Depending on the day ahead I will also either make this smoothie with almond mylk, or water, occasionally add a spoon of a nut butter I have in the house, and some vanilla extract. (Because although I know that spirulina and moringa are extremely beneficial and make me feel fantastic, I very much like to enjoy my food, and Im not a fan of things that taste like ass. So when its mixed with all sorts of berries, other greens, a little vanilla and nut butter sweeten it up making it taste good.)
