Fruits: Pear (poire) Perfume: Lemon (Use incense sticks, candles or boil to spread the perfume in the house) Taste of the day- (The taste of the day has a soothing effect on both the digestive system and the mind) Today’s taste is: Mix 2 cloves (girofle) and ½ the juice of a lemon in 1 glass of warm water. Infuse for 10 minutes before drinking. Recipe: • White beans (haricot blanc)and rice dish In a pan (or a pressure cooker), add 1½ cup white beans, 1 cup rice and 3 cups of chopped vegetables- brinjal, chouchou, calabash, chili (piment cari) or pumpkin. Add 1 cinnamon stick, 3 cloves, 3 cardamom pods and 5 tablespoons tomato purée. Pour enough water to have a glutinous consistency (cange). Off heat add salt, pepper and chopped coriander leaves • Coconut and peanut chutney • Carrot salad.
