Kelly Friesen-Bass (Woody Allen film soundtrack “Sweet & Lowdown” starring Sean Penn) Dave Meade-Drums (toured with Wayne Shorter) Charlie Caranicas-Trumpet Michael Hashim- Saxophones (original member of Widespread Depression Orchestra) March 10- Michael Howell Guitar (played w/Dizzy Gillespie and Art Blakey band) March 17- Mark McCarron (one of the most in demand session players in NY) March 24- Howard Alden (Downbeat award one of the top guitarist in last 75 years wrote and recorded Woody Allen soundtrack “Sweet & Lowdown”) March 31- James Chirillo (Benny Goodman, currently with Wynton Marsalis and guitarist for hit Broadway show “After Midnight”) We encourage all local jazz musicians to show up and jam.
