...31 Days/31 Horror Movies: Day Twenty: Super Hybrid: ...man, Id love to have been a fly on the wall, in the executive board room, when the enthusiastic writers of this movie were trying to convince the stiff-shifted, stogie-smoking suits, that this concept would have the makings of a good horror movie...especially since the concept, in itself, is a hybrid of other ideas and concepts. In short, a group of maladjusted and estranged garage repair workers are trapped in a multi-level garage, by a killer car, which houses a multi-tentacled creature...and the car has the organic ability to change itself into any type of car or vehicle. Clever, huh?? Its Christine, crossed with The Thing...with a dash of Predator...and the whole ball of wax is rendered with the same brainless fervor as Maximum Overdrive. Hows that for hi-jinks, folks?? Not inornately a time-waster...but invariably destined to get thrown up on the standard SyFy Channel scrap heap...
