#3280 ======================================= I am a tuba player in my poly band. I have volunteered to change to eupho, because all the eupho year-ones quit band, and for now theres only one alumnus playing in that section. I feel that by moving to that section I can help eupho to ensure its continuity. I think in the future I will really miss being a tuba player. I am quite sad to have to leave my section mates behind. But that Im still in the band and technically in tuba section makes me feel more comfortable. Ill do my job well in eupho section, and hopefully if got chance Ill return to tuba again =D This reminds me of my secondary school back in Msia, when all members from a year batch quit, resulting in a very big gap between me and my senior batch. Tough times, really. After my seniors graduated, the gap resulted in the level of the band suddenly drop. I eventually quit my secondary school band in my last year. Continuity is really important. Without continuity, there will be so-called generation gap. With generation gap, a bands standards and morale will certainly be heavily affected. Admin: I feel you bro.
