# 338—Self-Acceptance----As a young missionary I enrolled in a continuing education program at Wheaton College. The professor was Bill Gothard. He explained that God made me perfectly, for my good and His glory. This helped me to accept myself physically and intellectually. It led to a life of fulfillment in teaching and discipling. The verse Bill Gothard showed us is this one: “Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation!” (Psalm 139:13-14 The Message) As our dear mentor, Prexy Edman, said at Wheaton College: We face life not somehow, but triumphantly. thanks be to God, who always causes us to triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14)
