#34 – “Just Breathe” by Pearl Jam Perhaps I should have more representation from the grunge era but it really didn’t captivate me as much as it did the masses. I enjoy listening to most of the bands (save perhaps Nirvana) but not enough to leave an impression. Having said that, there is life after grunge and Pearl Jam is a perfect example of this. “Just Breathe” is a beautiful song from their 2009 album “Backspacer”, which was the usual smash hit for the band. It will forever remind me of my father, as it was one of the songs I used to compose a “life in pictures” DVD for his 70th birthday a few years ago.
