# #382 Boy 19 Engaged Delhi# #:I belong to a lower-middle class family from a small village.When I was a child my father used to work very hard (sometimes even 12 to 13 hrs per day) to earn a me ager income.We were a joint family of 6 people used to live in 2 (10 sqft) rooms.I never in my childhood played with any teddy bear or any soft toys.The only toy for me was a wooden rectangular piece and a one rupee ball.My father used to ride 10 kms on bicycle to go to his office in town .Often my parents would fight.I have seen domestic violence in my house and my mom used to remain hungry for even 2-3 days.As I grew up I started hating my father for this and even insulted him many times. I had no intention of joining IITs until 11th but in 12th I started preparing for it.At last I cracked IIT JEE on my second attempt(without coaching)and joined C.S.E in an old iit.Two year has passed after I left home.Time has changed and so the situation at my home.Now my parents didnt fight so often and even though they fight it does not involve any sort of violence.Since last few days I started regretting for my behaviour towards my Father.I started to miss him so much.I once even said to him"apne kiya hi kya hai mere liye?".(I will regret for these words till the end of my life.)I have seen him transforming from a 30 yr old man with energy to a 50 yr old man with pale skin and wrinkles.I dont have the strength to say sorry to him but one day I will apologise to him and will give himall d happiness.
