#437 of 500 things Ill miss about Thailand (in no particular order): The Full Spectrum of Farang Idiocy There are all sorts of foreigners living in Thailand. Some are virtually Thai: they speak Thai fluently, theyve married Thai partners, they have Thai kids, and theyll be here to the end of their days. They are woven into the fabric of the community. On the flip side of the spectrum there are drunken buffoons who show up here for a few weeks, and treat this place like its their personal playground, like this assclown running down Loi Kroh during Songkran in Chiang Mai last year. Yes, I will miss seeing this kind of idiocy regularly, because the bemused contempt I feel for these farangs makes me feel more Thai than I ever will be.
