#44days to Election Day, no doubt BDP is in panic mode (e siana lebelo la 44), the sedition act has no place in morden democracy, a very unfortunate piece of legislation & whoever sanctioned the drama should be ashamed & no doubt caused shame to BW, I doubt BDP has any aiota of shame. In The Alternative camp (BCP/UDC) axis, there was some not so surprising commotion. The panic mode clearly shows BDP is scared, rightly so, the question is who caused the stir, hence the scramble. I argued b4 & still do now that a 3 pronged battle overwhelms BDP, BW could be headed to a unity government (GNU) & BDP cant fathom that. What r the implications of GNU? Shared power & responsibilities (capped execess), this will lead to an open & democratic BW, hence a blow to BDPs competitive advantage. This would signal the beginning of the end of both BDP & its unilateralism. Worst case scenario (4bdp), it may be facing its last 44 days as a ruling party (this is highly possible), most likely to a combined Alternative majority, either way BDP has a reason to worry, hence the inevitable; 1st political arrest (sedition), #1st political asylum (refugee)
